A beige baseball cap from the new Aeronautica Militare collection will appeal to everyone. First of all, it attracts attention with an interesting design. On its front side there is an embroidered emblem with a symbolic image of a griffin, around which you can see inscriptions dedicated to the Air Force Academy of Italy ("Accademia Aeronautica"). This academy, one of the oldest aviation academies in the world, was founded in 1923 almost simultaneously with the formation of the Italian Air Force. Located in Pozzuoli, Naples province. Known for its glorious history and exceptional training of Air Force officers. Admission to the Academy is open to all Italian citizens aged 17 to 22 and involves passing a special test. Recruitment is held every year. Traditionally, each new course at the beginning of its journey in the Academy receives its name. There are a total of 19 such names. All of them are associated with mythological creatures, predators, constellations, etc., and are repeated accordingly with an interval of 19 years.
