The jacket from the Cockpit USA brand is made in the style of the CWU-36/P Flight Jacket. It's an exact replica of the summer lightweight Mil-Spec Nomex® jacket, but made with a durable nylon coating. The official version of Nomex® was provided by the brand for the continuation of the classic blockbuster "Maverick Top Gun", which was released 35 years after the original picture. The design is an exact replica of that used by Tom Cruise in the film. Khaki color, US flag patches, as well as brand emblems, the US Air Force Air Test Squadron "VX-31", also known as the "Dust Devils", and the United States Navy Strike Fighter Tactics Instructor program, which has a more common name "Top Gun".
