Cockpit USA's G-1 Flight Jacket is designed to honor the heroic crew of the PBY Catalina airboat that flew missions in the Pacific, as well as China, Burma and India during World War II. "Black Eagle" (translated as "Black Eagle") is one of the legendary "Black Cats" of the VBP-71 squadron of the US Navy, which distinguished itself in battles, in particular during the battle for the Philippines in 1944. That is why on the model you can see vintage replicas of the VBP-71 squadron patches, as well as an original drawing on the back of the jacket, created in the spirit of the original works of the crew, as a symbol of honoring their achievements in the performance of missions.
